We are a Ft. Collins based boutique event planning and design studio. Owner and founder, Rebecca Grabler, was born and raised in this beautiful town. While being an avid world traveler, she loves to call FoCo home. She worked almost 17 years in profit and nonprofit planning all types of events. She recently founded Element Special Events to get back to what she loves- event design, management, coordination, and implementation.

Celebrate Your Story
Creating relationships with clients is our number one priority. All relationships, events and weddings are different which is why we offer several services that can be customized to meet all of your needs. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive, so no need to ask!
Because we know event planning whether for your beautiful wedding, corporate meeting or nonprofit fundraising can seem impossible, we take pride in making it seamless and enjoyable to every client. Getting to know you and your needs to begin with allows us to create a communication plan and event strategy which caters to your needs.
Element Special Events prides itself on being focused on those relationships and always being a creative problem solver. We are solution focused. By creating this relationship with our clients, we advocate for your needs with each vendor or service. Holding all individuals accountable for a successful event is crucial to Element Special Events.
While all this sounds serious, Rebecca is known for her sense of humor. We haven’t mentioned she taught high school for 5 years or is trying to survive raising teenage boys. In another lifetime she would do stand-up comedy. This sense of humor keeps business fun- she wouldn’t be doing it otherwise!
FAQ
Why do I need a wedding planner or event planner?
Weddings are wonderful, exciting, emotional yet there is a lot of planning. Over 250 hours for a nonprofessional to plan. Wedding planners help bring your vision and dream to fruition, handling the research, legwork all the while keeping you on track with a timeline and budget. Instead of stressing, we handle each detail with meticulous care so you can enjoy your engagement and special day.
How do I know which wedding planner is right for me?
As your “wing-woman”, we will spend a lot of time together. During the complimentary initial consultation, you can get a feel for what we are like and if we have similar communication styles and if we seem to be understanding each other. Do you feel comfortable with us? Can you tell us the truth about any ideas we might have? Being open and clear with each other is very important. Colorado may be casual, but weddings are really about details- so having a planner that knows what is important to each client is crucial.
Do you have a specialty?
While we don’t have a specialty, we love embracing the natural beauty of Colorado and incorporating details from the client’s love story into the event. In addition, multi-cultural events and weddings are very special to us. If your family has customs for the event or traditions, we feel these are deeply personal and important to weave into the event.
Are you a legal business and are you insured?
Element Special Events is a registered LLC in the state of Colorado. We are a member of Association of Bridal Consultants, one of the most-respected organizations for wedding planners in the country. We are also involved in the Wedding Industry Planning Association (WIPA) as well as the Ft. Collins Chamber of Commerce. We are insured a business with a $2 million dollar policy and can provide further documentation.
How do the fees or packages work?
After the complimentary initial consultation, we evaluate if we are a good fit for what you need and the size and scope of your wedding or event. We can see if one of our set packages fits or if we need to build a package for you. If you need month of/day of wedding coordination, we still provide vendor recommendations for your wedding. In order to secure your date with us, we prepare an agreement, and a retainer is set.
How involved are you in the wedding planning process?
We are involved as much as you want or need us to be. All decisions are made by you- but we are here to be your advocate and coach. We attend vendor meetings, do walk-throughs, and run the rehearsal. We can be as involved as you need or want us to be! All actual decisions are made by you. We’re here to be your coach and advocate.
Do you work with an assistant on the wedding day?
Yes, for weddings of over 50 guests, there is always an assistant, and sometimes more than one depending on the size of the wedding.
